Can I bring my bicycles to Ecuador without taxation?

I wouldn't count on it.  How many bicycles? What is the dollar value when new? For what purpose are you bringing them, and for how long? If they are only for personal sport use you may get by with a small tax. If they think they may be for resale, you could pay a much higher tax.

Bicycles are not on the list of items excluded from taxation:

This article from 2019 gives some insight, but without giving a truly definite answer, and it focuses more on bicycles used for competition:

Your best bet appears to be if the bicycle is disassembled into parts that fit into one or two suitcases/bags, and are declared for personal sport use. Then there may be minimal or no tax.

Just re-signed up. You can bring one bicycle per family member. If you are a cyclist who owns mulitple bikes, you have to justify them. I am a multi-instrumentalist, so they wanted to make sure I wasn't going to sell off all my instruments (I had 2 guitars, a mandolin, a trombone and a bass) so I had to tell them I had a band. If you're sending a container use Paul Wilches in Cuenca. He's super good. If there's any mistakes in your inventory or any other questions (there WILL be something), it's usually between $100 to $500 "fine" (we're pretty sure it went in the customs inspectors pocket) to get your container out of the port. We had some other items we were questioned about. When our container was brought in, the moving agent (Paul) had to go to the port because of COVID. I don't know if the owner has to appear now or not.
