Hi everyone,
I'm Emily from Canada I'm in Dalian, China, studying Mandarin. I'm also getting married this year to a Chinese man. Not sure yet if I'm going to be here for the short-term or long-term, but already fascinated by the culture. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface of "China," despite being here for around six months!
@Stargazer4ever15 Hello and welcome on board !
Wish you success in your move.

Complete the visa application process for your children. This typically involves filling out an application form, providing the necessary documents, and paying the applicable fees. The application process can vary depending on your location, so check with the Chinese embassy or consulate for specific instructions. Before traveling to China, check if any vaccinations or medical precautions are recommended or required for children entering the country. It's also important to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies. Â
Hello, I'm an Australian and I'm moving to Longyan, Fujian Province for work. I would like to meet other english speaking people outside of my work circle to socialise with and to chat to.

Hi all, new to the site. Hello everybody.
My name is Marco, I work in finance and will be moving to Shanghai in February 2024. This forum has been very useful to look through.
I'm visiting on business in November and to get to know the city better. I was wondering whether anybody could point me in the directions of any good guides to high end restaurants and bars in Shanghai? I can't seem to find anything current online.
Part of my job is to organise drinks for clients while I'm there and I don't know where to start.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Marco
@Marco Geni
