San Miguel de Allende!

I live in Puerto Vallarta each year from Oct-April.   However, I am thinking about buying a small place in SMA.  Most likely a 1-br condo that sits on well-maintained and aesthetically-pleasing grounds.    Any advise?   I do have a budget.

Hello arleneruby,

While waiting for members of this forum to give some good recommendations, I advise you to create an advert in the Housing in Mexico section.

Hi Ruby,

I recommend connecting with a local bilingual real estate agent.

I recommend Greg Gunter, a colleague and friend, who has lived / worked in San Miguel for over 10 years. He has assisted many of my friends and clients throughout the years.

Here is his website:***

I also recommend that you make time to travel to San Miguel to identify the colonias / neighborhoods in which you would like to live. Each has its unique style as well as distance to Centro and safety / security rating. If you are not familiar with the latter, a long-term real estate agent should be able to assist you with more specific details.

Best of luck,

Melanie Lansing

Give him your specs (budget, neighborhood choices, and house size) and see if he can help you.
