Dukesbridge school? Middle range private schools.

Post new topic

Laura91

Hello dear, does anyone have experience what dukesbridge school is like? Or any other suggestion for a little cheaper school than westcoast, northfield and so on

2019MUR

I haven’t heard good things about Dukesbridge

Laura91

@2019MUR uh ok. What did you hear if i may ask? Which school do you recommend?

Laura91

What about the Montessori school opened new in the South?

Valere Anais

@Laura91 i have a little overview..  its a school with play learning base.. with multiples school activities..

If you wish you can view le jardin animes ltd.. am a trainee assistant teacher there.. they welcome children  from 0 to 5yrs.

@Laura91 the level of English teaching is very poor

2019MUR

@Laura91 I wouldn’t recommend a Montessori school for any child over 5 years of age. Children from these schools often have very poor literacy skills. You should try Summit Prep which is in the north near cottage. Excellent and passionate teachers. It’s near Cottage

@2019MUR thank you will check it out.

Hi,

Please check Yahweh International School. It is found in the heart of Ebene.

Laura91

@y2022 just checked their homepage out. Campus looks very nice. You think they welcome kids with special needs?

2019MUR

@Laura91 just be sure to check which curriculum they follow. No mention is made of this on their website which should be a concern for any parent.

@Laura91 Question marks exist over their curriculum, given their Head of Education is experienced in public educatioon.

They have aggressive marketing campaign but they seem to be focusing on quantity over quality with campuses mushrooming everywhere.

Check out similarly-priced schools to Dykesbridge such as Step Ahead and Hampton which are located in the centre of the island. These are well established with proven track records.
