Good evening! Here's a good summary in English of the program, from the perspective of Rio de Janeiro:

None of the websites of the Brazilian Consulates in Canada seem to have been updated. Here is the up-to-date information from the Brazilian Consulate-General in Chicago. In general terms, it would be very similar for Canada. The documents will need to be the equivalent Canadian documents, and the criminal background check from the RCMP. Contact the Brazilian Consulate responsible for your home province by email to request their specific requirements:

You can also apply for an Authorization for Residency as a Digital Nomad in Brazil at the Polícia Federal with the same documents. Since Canada is not a party to the Apostille Convention, all of the documents will have to be legalized at a Canadian Consulate in Canada beforehand.
