Moving to Tenerife

My wife and are looking to move to tenerife sometime in the next 2 and half years or so I聽 am 58 and hgv class 1 truck driver but I will try anything

My wife is a office work a has worked with our local council for over 20 years she 53 now but not sure where to start can anyone help us

We don't speak Spanish but we are willing to learn but the other question is would we have to work?
