Venezuelan citizen in Caracas getting tourist visa

Hello,聽 does anyone know the process for a Venezuelan citizen living in Caracas to get a tourist visa to travel to Dominican Republic?聽 They have a passport and traveled to colombia and Mexico and returned to Venezuela if that helps鈥�..I just need to advise my girl on what to do to get the tourist visa if anyone knows鈥�.thanks!

@scottie2hottie She has to go to the Dominican Consulate in Venezuela and apply.聽 Now, here's the problem.聽 The DR has been flooded with people from Venezuela (mostly women), many have stayed illegally.聽 That is why there is a tourist visa requirement now when such didn't exist previously (holders of a Venezuela passport could enter the DR visa free and vice versa but no more).聽 Also, just understand something, they can going to want to see she has a reason to return and not stay illegally. So, they are going to ask for employment info, if she owns a house or apartment, bank account, etc.
