Flic en Flac to Quarantine in Reduit

Post new topic

Rosiewestie

Hi all,
Well I am finally here after a very stressful 3 days, where I sadly lost my little Westie Rosie due to heart failure the day before leaving.

Until I get a car and feel confident enough to drive I am wondering if anyone is going on a daily basis to the quarantine in Reduit, that I could get a lift with and share petrol costs.

Living in Flic en Flac then moving to Tamarin 1st Sept

I have 2 dogs in quarantine Barney and Tinkerbell.

Many thanks
Dee

good luck. It is not a bad drive if you go through Rose-hill. After 2 trips it was super easy..... Good luck with your doggies :) Soon they will be with you.

Which way through Rose-hill?

We have only found the way there by going through Quatre Bornes?
and each time we have been stuck in traffic for 30-40 mins there.

There is another way; through Bambous and Roche Brunes and Ebene; but that would be for those who know the way.

Otherwise through QB, go through the short cuts and through Ebene instead of the M1.

have a look at that map - you turn off the coastal road, then through rose-hill to Ebene - then onto the M1. Traffic is minimal comapared to QB. We never went through QB. As you get into Rosehill you go over speed humps then get to traffic lights, turn right then your next left. At the end of that road turn right and you are on the main Rose-hill road. Then go till you get to a traffic circle that directs you to Moka/Ebene. That is the easiest route, there are other shortcuts....

Thanks Guys for your pm's and suggestions - much appreciated :)

@ Keno; Have actually managed to do the journey your way and it is so much quicker - a couple more times and then I shall drive myself there - well I need to get a car first!

What done the journey through Rose hill?

If so then yes but I have been getting a taxi 2-3 days a week and obviously he knows the shortcuts - which I have actually remembered :)

Best wishes
