WhatsApp Chat Screenshots for UK Spouse Visa

Post new topic

JosephE1!

Hi Everyone,

My wife and I are married, alhamdulillah. She is Moroccan, and I am a UK national of Moroccan descent. I am currently in the process of filling out my wife's spouse visa application so she can come to the UK. I have all the necessary documents to support our application, including our marriage certificate, financial evidence, accommodation evidence, entry in morocco records, our photos, statements of money transfer and purchases towards our weddings, written statements from ourselves family and friends, even video links of us vlogging in morocco and transcript whatsapp screenshots of all our calls and chats spanning our entire 3-year relationship.

My question is regarding the submission of screenshots from WhatsApp. What would be considered sufficient or substantial by the UK Home Office? How many screenshots did you guys submit, and what approach did you take? I would appreciate any guidance on what was deemed sufficient in your applications. Of course, providing the entire 3 years' worth of conversation is impossible, but they would likely require a timeline for each year. How should I document that? Would it be enough to submit 4 or 5 screenshots per month, including chat and call details? I'm looking for the right method of approach in terms of quantity and timing.

What did you guys do that worked for you? and was part of your successful application

If you could share your experiences and advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you so much.

2 or 3 screenshots per month,  one from beginning of month, middle , and end of month.

If you read the government guidelines they don't ask for stuff like screenshots. Perhaps call the home office directly (you have to pay per minute for this service) and ask them for advice as to what evidence they actually require. They are not interested in looking at documents they do not require.
