Anyone with experience exporting a car from Kuwait to the US?

Last week I purchased a new car in Kuwait, but have now concluded that I would rather return to my home in Florida. My questions is: has anyone exported a car from here to the US before? If so, please enlighten me about your experience, estimated costs, and if any modifications must be performed on the car.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

It's a 2012 E350 Benz coupe.

any luck with this?
I know there are a huge list of EPA/ DOT regs that need to be met for newer cars.
I am also wondering about taking a car-- but one older than 20yrs-- so that I don't have to deal with the regs. But WHERE/ HOW does shipping happen?
