I read that you come for 3 months at a time and then leave the country. So no need for a one year extension of stay.

One idea would be to arrive on a tourist visa (30 days) and extend it once for another 30 days.

This visa can also be obtained on line, .

At the end of the two months you take a trip abroad, bus to Saigon as example, and on return you take another 30 day tourist visa.

Good luck.

Joe

If you stay for a year or longer you have to arrive on an Ordinary visa also called E visa, and after one week extend it for a year extension of stay, through an agent.

No we used to come for 3 month but now we live in Thailand now

Can you just unlimited leave and entry the country after a month and extend the tourist visa, or do you need a other visa after 3 months?

You can extend your tourist visa once for 30 days so you can stay 60 days total in the country.

You can repeat that many times.

Cheers
