Hello and welcome !
I don't think it matters how you look ....
All that matter are your degrees, languages you speak (German, French, Italian, Romansh) ideally, you should at least master one or more of the official languages and professional experience. If your skills are in demand etc.
I would suggest that you read the Living in Switzerland guide for expat to know how you can land an opportunity.
Feel free to create a complete CV in the Jobs in Switzerland section to put forward your skills.

Hello, my name is Tomas from the Czech Republic, and I would like to find seasonal work in Switzerland as a fruit picker. I've decided to travel, and working for 3-6 months during the season seems ideal for me. Ideally, I'd like to work regularly each year to build a good reputation in Switzerland.
What can I offer? A strong and healthy body, along with a responsible and hardworking nature. On March 23rd, I'm going to Switzerland for a 10-day meditation course, and after that, I could come to work. I can only speak English, but I believe it will be sufficient for this job.

Hello guys!
My name is Lisitsi, and I’m from Kenya. Employment opportunities in Switzerland are what I am seeking, as an IVD Engineering Expert position will be there for me to serve in. When not working, I enjoy animations, and books as well as tasting different kinds of food.
I am expecting to meet other expatriates, who can give me some advice on how to live here and also make new friends. You can contact me at any time if you need a chat or if you have any suggestions for someone who has just moved to a new place!
I so much look forward to interacting with all of you.

Hello!
I am passionate about running, especially when I can share the experience with others. I also love hiking and find relaxation through yoga and Qi Gong. Connecting with people who share these interests and with positivity is something I truly value.
I am an avid reader of crime novels and always crave a good cappuccino or flat white. I look forward to meeting like-minded people and enjoying these activities together.
@Julien
Hi I m Naveed Khan from Pakistan origin with Italian citizenship. Now I have been working in Switzerland since 8 years and with C permit. I have worked as a italian cook at many restaurants.
Hello everyone!
I'm thrilled to join this community and connect with like-minded individuals.
Short background info: I'm a physiotherapist (back pain specialist) from Germany, now living (alone) and working near Bodensee in Switzerland. Having lived as an expat in several countries, I've gained diverse experiences that I truly cherish. Meeting up in Zurich area is the nearest for me though I'd also travel farther for special events and people in Switzerland.
I believe in leading a healthy and ambitious lifestyle, enjoying activities like gym workouts, swimming, and cycling. Life isn’t just about work and fitness—I also love joyful experiences such as dancing, clubbing, and attending concerts. Additionally, I have a passion for national and international travel and fine dining. Writing professional articles, reading non-fiction, and engaging in intellectually stimulating conversations are joyful activities for me.
I'm here to connect with positive people in Switzerland who value their time and have clear goals both personally and professionally. If you’re someone who appreciates high-quality interactions and has a zest for life, I’d love to hear from you! Let’s inspire each other to try new things and make the most of our expat adventures together.
Cheers,
Dennis

If you want you also need to speak the language of the country. Do you? Pick 3 of them......
