Are there any public lap pools or clubs that one could join in Madeira for regular swimming?

I live on Madeira and yes, there are many public pools although they are not specifically lap pools.聽 There is a fairly new indoor olympic size pool that is utilized for club workouts and the public can purchase passes.聽 I have not used it yet as I am recovering from a shoulder injury from excessive swimming workouts but hope to in the coming weeks as i go through physio and weight strengthening.聽 There's also open water swimming if that's your thing as many Madeirans do but that's not my thing.

See above is the swimming pool complex serious swimmers use to train and compete.
