recommendations for dental care in San Jose

virginiadodgemarvin

Hhi.  My name is Heidi Vardeman, a retired Presbyterian minister who is located in the San Jose area. My husband has a spinal cord injury and uses a wheelchair, so our life in Costa Rica makes a huge difference in his quality of life.

I'm going to have to have some serious dental work done in January.  I'm looking for recommendations for dental implants.  I am reluctant to go to just anyone, so I'd like to know if anyone has had good experiences with a dental practice in San Jose.  Thanks much.

This is the same person who posted last year about getting dental work done.  Someone replied to me back  but I have lost the contact information from him.

So. . .if you know about general dental care, implants and restorative work, please share that information with me.  I don't want to go to some fly-by-night-focused-on-ripping-off-tourists sort of place.  I don't mind going somewhere that caters to foreigners but it needs to be solid.

We stay at Jaco beach but I would travel to San Jose for dental work if need be.

Thanks a lot.

Here in Grecia, we have a good general practice dentist and her brother who is a periodontist. Their brother is a clinical professor of dentistry at Baylor in Texas. He frequently returns to Grecia and is available for consultation. These three would certainly be our first choice. We've used them for over fifteen years.
