SEN school provisions

Hi,

My work is looking to relocate me to Antwerp. we lived in Belgium before and loved it so would normally jump at the opportunity.

However, my son is 6 years old and non verbal autistic. he goes to a mainstream school in Ireland but has a one on one.聽 He does qualify for a special needs school place but here, their class sizes are so big we opted for private mainstream.

I have so far found one SEN school in Antwerp (i鈥檓 sure there would be more.. ) and i am wondering if anyone else has been through this move and if it has been successful.

There are loads of public SEN schools.

You need to talk to the CLB of the SEN schools, get someone to accept any medical evidences you have, get an attest, find a place and then enrol.

Contact a few of these schools.

You are looking for type 9.
