Hello everyone!

Last year (2023-2024), I had the incredible opportunity to participate in a university exchange program in Taiwan, where I studied Psychology at Tsing Hua University.

Now that I'm back in France to complete my final year of my degree, I'm beginning to consider my professional future. Ideally, I would like to work in Taiwan, China, or South Korea, depending on the opportunities available for psychologists.

I am fluent in both French and English, but I currently only possess basic knowledge of Chinese and Korean—though I’m actively working to improve my proficiency in both languages.

At this stage, my plan is to complete a master's degree in France and then explore diploma conversion options for working abroad, which will be the easiest i guess?

However, detailed information on this process has been challenging to find—most resources I've come across seem to provide contact details for "psychologists" in Taiwan rather than offer practical guidance.

I would love to hear if anyone has insights or experiences in this field. Is the psychology sector open to international practitioners? Are there opportunities to work in hospitals or educational institutions (e.g., schools or universities), or is private practice with primarily English-speaking or expatriate clients the main avenue?
