Private health insurance for France

Hi, I have brought a property in France. We are moving in January. I have been online to get a quote for health insurance for me and my wife. I am 64 and my wife is 83. All the quotes are very expensive. We are both in the best of health. Are there any insurance companies in France that give better price's.

My husband and I are American expats in France and purchased insurance from Cigna through Scotland.聽聽It was a fair price (relative expensive American insurance).聽 Let me know if you want our contact there.

Like Theresa, I am moving to Pau Richard.聽 I had to purchase a one year policy to get my visa---I went with ACS and it cost me about $1300 (though the exchange rates have improved since September of course).

acs-ami.com/fr/assurance-ex 鈥� at-france/聽聽Be advised----you can get coverage through this policy at ACS, but your wife won't be able to because of her age----
