[Help Request] Sending a group of boxes to the UK from France

Hello all!

I've been living in Newcastle upon Tyne for the past 3 years (my visa just got renewed, yay!) and have been looking to get a collection of boxes (around 15, mostly books) sent over from France now that I have a place of my own.

I've been trying and failing for the past few months to find a solution at a reasonable price: all the services and companies I've looked at charge fees aimed at full-house moving, whereas my scope is much smaller (there is no furniture, nothing valuable, etc).

I've also been struggling to understand exactly what information I need to provide for customs purposes and what forms to provide it with.

If anyone here has information on the following subjects, I'd be eternally grateful!

reliable and afforable services for shipping groups of boxes to the UK from France
what information needs to be provide for the boxes to clear customs
what forms need to be filled in for customs and/or taxes (bearing in mind all of the stuff shipped is for personal use only)
what fees I'd be looking at customs-wise
