importing my car and a power boat to Oman

Hi,

I am wondering if I can import my Car and a power boat while moving from Canada to Oman as a resident after the acquisition of an ITC property.聽 will I have to pay taxes or is it free and counts as part of the moving process?.

is it true that if I import the car and the boat from the US assuming that they are made in the US that I will not pay taxes as part of a Oman-US treaty?

or in other words as expats what was your choice? did you import your goods or just chose to buy them in Oman?
