Hi,

Im not living in Vietnam and i need to send money to a local. What is the fastest way of doing it? Can she/he create a remittance account and get it done in minutes? If yes, where can it be done? Any bank or post office?

Western Union would be the quickest. Highly unlikely to be the cheapest though.

If you check with some Vietnamese people in your area they can tell you about a place you can send money overnight fairly cheap.

I dun hv Vietnamese friend in SG
But there are 2 Western Union branches near my house.

Id get your friend to ask around here for some VN links there, it will save you some dosh and may be easier in the long run.
