Hi all,

is it difficult for expats to open a bank account in Honduras ?

Which documents are required to open a bank account in Honduras ?

How long does it take to open it ?

Is there any restriction for expats regarding the services (loans for instance)聽 ?

Which bank would you recommend ?

Open a HSBC account before you go... Online savings and or a checking acct w/ card and checks.. Keep $5000 in the bank between your checking and savings accounts and does not cost any monthly fees..
