Hi,

when settling in a new country, working parents are mostly concerned about finding child care services for their children.

What can you share with us about the child care system in Quito ?

How much is daycare in Quito?

Is the staff qualified at these daycare centers?

What are the usual opening hours?

Do they provide other services at the daycare center?

Any daycare center in Quito you would like to recommend to other expats? What makes them special?

I found a nice, neat, and hands-on activities' daycare in Cumbaya "Los Pinitos" in the urbanization "La Catolica", near central Cumbaya.
The owner, who runs this daycare is from Italy and fluently speaks multiple languages: Italian, Spanish, and German.
She employs three additional early child educators, who are professional and speak Spanish/German or Spanish/Italian.
We used this facility only as a half day service, the other half of the day we spent searching around Cumbaya and Quito areas.
