Hi all, please help, planning on moving to rio, any tips?

We used Confiança Moving to ship our household from Los Angeles to Goiânia via the port of Santos. At the port, we contracted the services of a despachante, Deoclesio Felix (DFelix). Both were disappointing -- if I had it to do over again, I wouldn't do it that way.

Might consider buying most everything fresh here in Brazil, shipping only a "consolidated" (partial, shared) container with a few precious, irreplaceable items.
