Howdy :) New here!

Post new topic

In the future, hopefully the next few years, I wanna move to Rio De Janeiro and experience a new life. Thing is, I have a lot of studying to do and am unsure about some  things. My main question is, which part of Rio would be the best, safest, and most affordable part to move to?

What is Rio like? I'm getting mixed responses, and I'm loving the advice I'm getting back, just need more information about the country, what it's like, the pro's and con's.

Hi Kimberley,

Welcome to Expat-blog. I'm a Canadian who has been living here in Brazil for over ten years now. I'm married to a wonderful Brazilian woman and we have a five year old son who is my whole world.

I know that if you ever get here you'll fall in love with the country and its people as we all do. I was hooked from day one.

Cheers,
