Howdy, my wife set this up for me, don't really know much about the site yet, specifically how much of my profile is available.
That being said, my name is Brady and I will be in Rabat in two days. My current contract is for two years and my wife and son may join me in 6 to 12 months depending on many factors.
The tax structure of Morocco is concerning me greatly. 20-38% seems VERY steep, especially on the 38% side.
Oh yeah, I am a golfer. How's the golf over there, and how much does it really cost to play? I saw the golf course in Rabat online, but it is hard to believe a full playing membership is only about 800 American dollars there. Thanks in advance!

Okay, I posted the introduction quite a while ago.  Can anyone answer my tax question.  I've received several answers, more than one on both sides of the taxation coin.  Can anyone give me a definitive answer?  Thanks in advance!

tax is 38% in UK, 42-51% in Netherlands.



General Income Tax: This tax is applied to the overall annual

net income. Annual taxable income above 120,000 MAD will be subject to a 42% tax rate.

You can ask your employer to give your net income as this is common question  to ask in morocco.  Most Moroccans will ask only for net income.
