Okay, have about been to all car dealers, lease companies, banks for car loans over the past months.

And cannot make up my mind, if I want to:
*buy (no costs-other than monthly payment- stuck with contract when leaving)
*lease (downpayment-monthly payment-large fee if one breaks contract)
*bank loan (% very good)but stuck with long term

What do people do if they are not sure that they want to stay in Kuwait - car wise - everyone buys or leases, but that is 12 to 36 months minimum commitment!

I have a car rental- but is a bit ... after having done a few 360s in a row on the road. (quite fun!)

Anyone know of car rental places for 4x4's per month that are cheap?

There are two lease places KFH near Ford (on the 80) at Shuwaikh and Aayan just off the 4th ring road.
They both have simlar prices and similar ranges.
I know Aayan will soon have a 4*4 for 149 per month over 2 yrs.
I preferred the service at Aayan and will be renting one from them.

Hi there,

well i think your best bet if you are not sure how long you are staying is looking in the weekly ad newspapers that you can pick up for free from almost any bagala ( minimart) there are a lot of private companies what rent daily and weekly and monthly. it might be a bit more expensive but if you shop around the adds I'm sure you will get something that will make you happy I've seen them from 120kd onwards for monthly rental. not sure about the terms tho as i have never rented a car in kuwait.
