Movin to SA with my children to be with my partner

My partner is from Cape Town and has been in the UK for over 10 years. He is moving back to SA shortly to run his own practice and myself and my 2 children (age 14 and 10) are following later. I've been reading some of the threads on here and it seems complicated and a long process......am I right in thinking this? We can't wait to go but the formalities seem very daunting! Any advice very welcome. Thank you!

Dont be scared of it.Its easy if your spousal is a south african citizen.The process is a bit long but at the end of day you get your permit.

Hi.

Yes the process is very long and tiresome. But as Quovadis said, if you are patient you will get your visa, contact your SA consulate and get them to send you the requirements.
