Can anyone provide information regarding an attorney who could help us through the process of obtaining long term (residence) visas?

All the requirements for a聽 long stay visitor visa are set out on the consulate website, are you having any specific problems that really require an attorney?

No, not at all.聽 I'm just looking for someone with the expertise and language skills to provide a service.聽 After doing some readingon the subject it seems that the "experts" recommend legal assistance to ensure that the process goes as smoothly as possible.

I guess going with attorney will make sure everything goes well, but I don't think you really need one - decide if there are thngs you really want help with, and don't just be paranoid (not in a mean way at all - just wouldn't want you to spend too much money).
