Hi!!! Velkommen til Bergen!! I know what you mean about the weather. Im from San Diego, California. I live right outside of Bergen, on the island Askøy! IDK if theres an "Australians in Bergen" group on FB, but we have a group of "Americans in Bergen". Not everyone is American, mostly english speakers! Feel free to join, and maybe we can meet up sometimes. We do some quiz nights in the center occasionally! Feel free to add me on FB too. Mariana G.D. Heggholmen!

Hello mate,
welcome to bergen. The weather? Well you never know what you're going to get. This winter's been constantly mild which means loads of wind and rain. Last year there was thick snow from December to the start of April. The summers range from pretty warm to non-existent and it's not unusual for it to rain every day in autumn.
There is work of some kind for everyone who wants to work really, depend what you're happy to do.
I came over 13 years ago thinking one day I'd move back to the UK, but I haven't even considered it in years. Norway is a great place to live if you've got a Norwegian to help you settle in, can be tough otherwise I think.

Hi

This is funny... I moved from Sydney to Bergen a year ago.
And my boyfriend is Norwegian : )

Yup, as Ben_C mentioned, the forecast is Miserable !!!!
I guess a little worse than Melbourne, but a whole different world from Sydney!

Hola,
Soy de España.
No sé mucho inglés.
LLego a Bergen la primera semana de Mayo.
Voy a trabajar en Ulvik pero no conozco a nadie y me gustaría conocer a gente para salir por alli.
Me gustaría saber si sería posible quedar cuando esté allí para comer o tomar algo.

I like treking, bike, sport, music and dance.

Espero poder conoceros.

See you.

Armand
