Correct. If you sit in the cafeteria on the top floor of Tax, you see the customers of the famous Rex Hotel Rooftop Bar.

Phu Quoc Island is a little too basic for sophisticated cameras.

Several manufacturers (Sony, Nikon, etc) have company owned service centres and authorised dealers which sell cameras with world warranties.

Many other stores are NOT authorised and they sell products smuggled in from Cambodia and Thailand which do not have the world (or even any) warranty.

You ca find international camera manufacturers offices in VietNam on the InterNet and they have good showrooms and will give you a list of dealers.

Many cameras sold in shops on Nguyen Hue, and a few other places, are stolen - they have no warranty! Be careful.
