Studying Arabic in Jordan

Post new topic

addictedtoarab

I'm thinking of studying Arabic in Amman for 1-2 month from Japan... As I'm really tight on budget,I want to live in reasonable apartment as possible. I've found information that around University of Jordan I could find many cheap apartments. But I haven't decided my school yet. Could I find cheap and relatively safe apartment(200JD-300JD or even less)in every part of the city? How much would be the living expenses if I try to save money as possible?

Hi, I studied Arabic at Modern Language Centre at Jabal Weibdeh but a friend from Korea told me there is a Language centre somewhere in Jabal Amman, and it is far better than the one I attended.

Hi;

To live in Amman you need around 500 JDs (Dollars) a month, living next to the university would help you not to pay for transportation but it is such an expensive aria to live.
so I think that you should fined another area where city buses passes from, then you will be fine.
if you need other information about that or about the schools I well be happy talking to you.

Hi;
another center called (Malek Center) is located some were nearby Jordanian Uni. is a very good one, that you can chose to learn (Fosha) or (Amiia) Arabic.
but it is very important to live with Arabic native speakers to keep hearing, practicing and using the Language, now you should think about a volunteering job with kids, you will learn fast from them.
