Hello ´¡³Ü°ùé±ô¾±±ðZ!

I'm Balaji from Chennai, India. I got a job offer from a company in Selangor, Malaysia. I have been said, RM4000 per month with Accommodation.

Through this forum I saw a post mentioning, Rm5000 is needed to get work permit.

So that means I cant get a work permit?

matdie

Hi!

There is no minimum salary to get working visa here, as long as you meet the requirements and have a company to work with. normaly the company will arrange for you.

RM4000, i think is to low for expat like you,,what sector are you working ?

Hi matdie,

I'm going to work as a Junior Software Developer

Nemodot

There is a minimum for an employment pass of 5,000 rm.

However the accommodation I suspect will be counted as 1,000 rm making 5k.

It is a bit low but a sign of the times. Only enough for a single person.

Thanks Nemodot,

Yes. I'm a bachelor and i guess that would be sufficient for me.
through other threads i came to know RM2000 might cover all the expenses if i could limit fun and party..!

Is that so?
