camel racing...where?

yep, I need to go to the camel races, too! 

Camel Races are only held in winter months in Riyadh. I am proposing Bowling on July 5th at Marina Mall. I asked where the single section was, they said it is mixed.

Bowling is also available at Universal Bowling centre in Riyadh

I hope people don't mind, but I think maybe we should set some ground rules for this topic/club.

1. Anyone can organize an event as long as it is not a professional event as the Oasis in the Desert Tour.

2. Please provide away to contact the event leader. I know some people are hesitant of posting a number on the internet. So PM a person fr the number.

3. Keep the event inclusive not exclusive.

4. Make sure you are easily findable when you are the event leader.

5. Give as much detail about the event as possible, cost, directions, google maps, etc.

I've already submitted the announcement to ½ûÂþÌìÌà for approval.  They did not reject it.  We are well within the guidelines.

This thread was started, because I do not have $250 riyals to spend every weekend on events as I stated in one of my post for Friday afternoon game day. This is for expats organizing events for expats and not professional tour groups. Might I suggest starting yoru own thread.

Obviously you are wrong since your advertisement (or 'announcement,' as you call it) has been moderated.

Yeh there was a go-kart for this weekend, But I haven't heard back from those guys, seems the plan has been dropped, as usual......

The bowling is still on, but it has been moved to 7 PM on Wednesday July 4th. It will be held at Marina Mall. Wear your loudest shirt abd bring 2 Riyals for the loudest shirt contest. There is other stuff to do there as well. See other post.
