Soon to be a Hangzhou resident, any advise?

I am moving to Hangzhou next month for at least two years and was wondering what are the local hot spots for foreigners.

I spent half a day in hangzhou last year and liked it a lot but didnt get to see much of the city as you can imagine. Xihu district is where i will have to spend a good amount of my time in, anything there (or anywhere else for that matter) i should know about?

Im also a big football fan (EPL in specific), any pubs/bars around that show the games?

it actually turns out i will be around xiasha rather than xihu, this makes a big difference doesnt it?
id love to grab a beer with you next month once i am in hangzhou, i have so many questions im sure you can help me with.
what would you say the city is like to live in as a foreigner?
