Hi i am considering moving to Mauritius. However i can only get a tourist visa for 3 months and then extend it another 3 months. My question is will i be able to find cash work if i come to mauritius on a tourist visa? What are my chances of being able to gain employment as a labourer etc only having a tourist visa and a desire to work and live in mauritius? Will i earn enough to survive because i dont have a university degree

You are NOT allowed to work whilst on a tourist visa in Mauritius and you have to show your return ticket when you passed through immigration on arrival. Same rules as when a tourist visits Canada .

yes i already know this but i am asking people who live in mauritius if it is possible to find cash work. Like in canada its not legal to work for cash but you can find cash work

No , it's not possible for a foreigner to find cash work in mauritius.
Because a legaly employed mauritian will be paid 300$/mounth for the same work
