Could someone inform me what a typical median salary net is in Peru?

it depends on what you are doing. in lima, salaries are higher than outside of lima.. but that is not to say that they are high. i think minimum wage here is around $500 a month.

expats tend to make more money - at least the expats i know.

expats at my school make 2 - 3 times more than a peruvian doing the same job.

that麓s an interesting website that you can check out for some salaries...its a bit outdated, but not by much.

Usually, it's about 400 soles (138 USD) per month for like a typical job.

its depend, like a teacher english or web designer you will be independent very soon, if you have a good look maybe modelling for commercials, etc
