KUDU is the best b'fast in town any day of the week
Is there a Denny's in Riyadh?
My fav. in the States was 'Moon Over My-Hammy' but I guess they won't have that here
whats for b'fast at KUDU musicman?

KUDU offers a great European style breakfast conmprising 2 fried eggs, stripped meat, bread, cheese, potatos, salad, butter, jam, coffee and a glass of juice for about SR 15 which is quite a fill for the price.
Till 16:00, no place to go... I woke up 8:30 and suffered to much to find a place for food....
Then after I gave up.. It was destiny...
At 15:00 I had meal ( I can't say breakfast or even lunch ) when I was about to die...

where are you located aticus? in the empty quarter?
anyone who claims that he cant find a place to eat in the city of riyadh needs a GPS...
I am located at the heart of the City, Olaya - Tahliya intersection !
Where is the empty quarter, where is the OASIS! ( yet not known by me)

Aticus, if you drive north from the Olaya-Tahliya intersection on Olaya Road, you will see so many restaurants on the left at the next intersection, where Al Aqariya Mall is located (right) and Al Nemer Building (on the left).
If you cant find a bfast there you cant find it anywhere.
Another place on Olaya Street a few yards north of Jarir Bookstore is YAMAL ASH SHAM, the Lebanese Restaurant that has a massive spread of gourmet food for every pallet.
Yeah, I like KUDU's menus
unfortunately no Denny's in the house
well i m Pakistani and i live near by Hara, there is a small place named Alhamra[i guess]i love eating paye and nihari and yumme hulwa puri....a complete Desi meal:D
Nonz,
I'll meet you there some Friday morning. You can help me pick out the good stuff!
got to be fudruckers for a good american style breakfast......
You know, z, I've heard another American here talking about fudruckers but I haven't been there yet. Maybe one of these days. The thing is, Im trying to avoid my main activitites being eating out and/or shopping (very easy to fall into this routine in KSA since they are 'activities' so easily available).
And nonz, you mean the breakfast at your place is spicy.. or HOT? Spicy I love--like Mexican. HOT.. like Indian.. where I am jumping around fanning my mouth, I don't like lol
I love to go to Le Croissant they have great food for anytime of the day. Fresh juice, fresh pastries YUM. Also the Mexican restaurant near Prince Suliman university has a nice breakfast available at anytime. You can get eggs, sausage, etc.
I tried this Wooden Bakery a few days back, its kinda expensive as compared to other bakeries but , , , Food was good, new tastes, quality of service was good also
Oh yes I have been there as well it is amazing reminds me of Panera bread back home

Oh i thought both r same,so have ya seriously tried Indian ???food:rolleyes:
and yes ,lemme know i 'll cook some thing for u
i just hope my hubby dun read it or he would complain for not getting this offer for him ever:P
Wow... I saw that Wooden Bakery on Friday night (was driving on the highway that's a bit overhead).
I glanced out the side window and saw a large lighted 'windmill' on the front of a building and the first thing I thought of was the Moulin Rouge!!! Imagine that--Moulin Rouge in the middle of Riyadh! Too ironic
If you want really pricey breakfast/brunch, go to Seasons restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel! It's in the Kingdom Tower.. I think the price is around 250 Riyals per person. But if you have a huge appetite or want to impress visitors, you could give this place a shot haha. Good luck!
i live in hara, would love to have some paye ka nashta i love paye
Alliecat, Wooden bakery has delicious food, try it if you can. But its a little bit pricey than local bakeries.
I went there one friday morning around 8 clock and there was this Harley Davidson gang having breakfast there before they roll outta town ;D

Lets say your at the junction where Panda is (so panda is on your left) at those lights turn right...after 200 yards you will see Alhamra on your left hand side.
To get there you will have to turn left just after the mosque and left again and then alhamra is on your right hand side.
Breakfast is available until 11am...
They are very busy at weekends...I just ring them, give them a time and its packed and ready for me to pickup.
Enjoy:)
