which and where is the best HONDA motorbike showroom

Post new topic

I see a lot of price variations and model availability variation in motorbikes across some Honda dealer showrooms i have visited

Is there a Honda company showroom somewhere. If not, any feedback on which is the best dealer of Honda in the city

Honda is a common brand and has many outlets.

Choosing a big one might reduce you to a 'number' where as a smaller dealership recognises you as a person and appreciates your business.

I bought all my motor-scooters from a factory owned Kymco outlet. They treat you like people and often do 'little fixes' for you free.

When I occasionally visit their factory in the West end they even sevice my machine, wth free oil and air filter.

Things to consider:
** Almost all Kymco motorcycles / scooters have EFI (electronic fuel injection). Kymco is a Taiwanese manufacturer which has a substantial investment by Honda! EFI is very fuel efficient.

** Honda has a new 3-second off feature for fuel economy.

** Security. There are many 'master' keys on the streets for Honda as they are attractive to thieves. Kymco doesn't have master keys, they cut new/replacement keys with a computer controlled key-cutter.

Unless you have a Visa, Residential or Work Permit with over one year remaining on it you will have to find a VNese proxy to 'own' (register) your wheels in. Choose that person with are, girlfriends can become ex-girlfriends and transferring ownership / selling can become very complicated! Sales dealers an usually help out - after all they want the sale!

Jaitech,

I believe many of the Honda dealerships also have their own "Proxies" you can use to purchase motorbikes. Evidently many of the Vietnamese themselves use it if they are buying a motorbike in a city far from where they are registered with the police. I am not sure how accurate that information is, I was just told about it this week as I am in the market for a new Motorbike also.

Pls give me the address of the factory owned KYMCO outlet in HCMC. The only problem which i foresee with KYMCO is that as of now I think ( i'm not an expert) it doesnt have a good resale value here which Honda commands. and for a person like me who has to sell after using it for three years, thats a big deal as Kymco might have to be sold for peanuts while Honda will get a good price after 2-3 years.

Y guys make things sound so serious, there are full of honda representatives on the streets, which are so easy to recognize, the price is fixed. Yeah, Kymco is cheap and no robbers, thieves care about, but every month y have to pay to fix this that...those kind of brand name drink gas better than human drink beer during hot weather. Are y willing take a long way down to fix things when it has problem, factory is of course out of the urban. and normally after two years use then you throw it away in stead sell it out to earn back few bucks. that is why rarely to see it on the streets.

{Prices aren't fixed. There is so much competition and they are hungry for business. People want to hear about a good dealer, not any old dealer.

Obviously you don't know anything aboutKymco. It's partially owned by Honda! Also it has never, ever failed to get me to my destination - including all over the north.

Also, I have a Kymco which has 39,800 odd on the meter and only a couple of things needed changing: starter motor and a battery (I have a lot of electronics).
