residence visa/visit visa

Hi
I entered kuwait with a french passport and got a visit visa upon arrival at the airport. i entered on october 1st and it ends dec 31st.
Currently my visit visa is being transfered into a residence visa (iqama).
Will it be possible for me to leave Kuwait to vist my home country before my residence visa is complete? If i leave the country and come back will I have to apply for a residence visa again?

depends on what your company's mandoub (messenger) tells you; id wait till the paperwork is finalized and your residency is at least stamped in your passport before you head back to France for christmas/ new years. sucks but you have to make some hard sacrifices when you decide to live abroad.

If it is anything like the process I went through you will not be able to travel as the mandoub keeps you passport until the process us over!!!
