When they don't notarize but you need it....

Any suggestions in dealing with a state retirement organization who will furnish a pension document, required to apply for residency, but doesn't notorize their documents?

I cannot get the document apostillized without having it notarized, and the issuing organization says they don't notarize?

I am sure others have had similar problems and found solutions.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Bill

In order to obtain an apostille, the letter should be signed before a notary public. If the state retirement agency does not provide you with the letter signed before a NP, you can have a NP certify a copy of the letter which can be sent for apostille.
I hope this helps.
