Bringing cat into Male from Dubai...

Hi All,

At the moment my husband and I are living in Dubai and my husband may have the opportunity of relocating to Male with his job. We have a little cat who we adore, does anyone know if there's any restrictions about bringing cats into Male (have tried searching on internet, but haven't found much info) and also if there are any vets on the island.

There are plenty of cats here but most are wild. I am looking for a store that sells cat food,toys and litter for the box. Is that available in Male?

Which documents does my cat need in order to cross the boarder in Maldives? We are going to transfer from Italy. Are there any pet shops in Male which are selling special food such as Royal Cannin Veterinary diet?
