Hi.
I'd like to save electricity fee. Where can I buy LED lights in Phnom Penh?

Make sure you buy 10 at a time to save you trips back to the store. Everything in Phnom Penh is pirated, counterfeit, planned obsolented garbage that will break within weeks. I'd say have some authentic bulbs shipped to you but Cambodia doesn't allow that so you are forced to buy their garbage and get robbed. This applied to everything, not just lightbulbs. There's a good electrical and lighting shop on Monivong Boulevard.  I don't know the name of it, but it's on the right as you head north, just after street 214.  There's normally a bunch of fancy looking street lights on display out the front.  Not sure exactly what sort of LED bulbs you are after but that's where I'd try.

Just found the name - PP General Electrical Accessories #288 Monivong Blvd.

Thanks for the information. Let me try to go there soon after Chinese New Year.

Also make sure the bulbs are for the right voltage. I managed to blow up a $40 imported 12V LED light, not realizing some monkey connected our 12V socket directly to the 240V line.
