I just introduced my wife to hummus the other day here in the US.聽 She is from Nha Trang and has never seen it there.

You might as well just make it yourself if you can find chickpeas/garbanzo beans.

Maybe you can buy it by the pound/container from your favorite restaurant?

I've purchased the refrigerated variety before at Veggys on the corner of Le Thanh Ton and Thi Sach streets - District 1.聽 I think I've also seen it at Sieu Thi An Phu and An Nam Gourmet in Thao Dien/District 2 area.聽 It's kind of hit or miss with those places, sometimes they have things in stock and the following week they're out of stock.

I was just at Veggys today (the one on Le Thanh Ton street) and they had a huge inventory of Athnos brand Hummus....just go upstairs to the walk-in refrigerator - on the top rack above the sausages.聽 To my surprise they even had Red Bull in stock.

I haven't seen restaurant making hummus ..brighter western restaurant..better make your own hummus ..which only eggplant and the rest you google the recipe
