Best Dermatologist for Hair care in Bahrain?

Post new topic

SafeAce

Hey guys,

I recently moved from Toronto, Canada to Bahrain. Enjoying life so far, but the water here doesn't seem to be suiting my hair. I'm losing hair on a consistent basis and was hoping to go to a good dermatologist for hair loss prevention. Any tips on who is the best around here ?

Thanks,
Saif

Hello Saif, and welcome to Bahrain from another newbie.  I'm experiencing the exact same issues as you, and will be watching along for and advice that the forum regulars might offer.

Hello. Losing hair is an unfortunate consequence of being in Bahrain.

There are a few specialist skin clinics you could try.

Dr Tariq's Hospital is one:

Another reputed dermatologist is Dr Nedhal Khalifa. Her clinic is near Salmaniya Hospital in the building that has the "City Furnitures" store, opposite "Sana". Location:

You can also try the dermatologists at the other big hospitals like "American Mission Hospital" (as suggested by Khush-Singh above) and at "Royal Bahrain Hospital".

Let us know how you progress. Best wishes.

Dear Saif, Welcome to Bahrain. As I know Dr. Khalil Al Arayed, near Salmaniya Hospital, is one of the best dermatologist in Bahrain.

Dr. Hari in Shifa Jazeera Hospital is also very good dermatologist.

My wife has just read this post!

She has asked me to find out what the problem is causing hair loss as she is moving over to Bahrain shortly.

Can anyone on the forum shed any light, is this a common issue?

Apparently its something to do with the desalinated water we use here. Not sure though. But one thing is for sure, both my wife and I lost a lot of hair since coming to Bahrain. :sosad:

Hello all
I find this very interesting that water can cause hair to shed-i suffer from male pattern baldness the most dreaded thing known to man and i have done extensive research into the possible causes of hair loss and the possible  "cure" and nowhere have i come to learn of water being the result of shedding hair-are you sure it is not stress related
