I am living in saudi arabia , with valid Iqama alongwith my wife as dependent.i would like to know can my wife deliver her baby in BAHARIN on VISIT VISA or MEDICAL VISA.

She also has aÌý valid visa and Iqama of Saudi Arabia, we are in a fix please let us know IS IT POSSIBLE TO DELIVER BABY IN BAHARAIN ON VISIT VISA .

And what are the procedure to make documents for baby.

The question is why you want her to deliver in Bahrain if your wife has a valid Iqama for KSA?

She can deliver on a visit visa but whether your health insurance will cover the delivery in Bahrain or not, is another matter.Ìý ÌýSecondly, it will be an additional hassle for you to get the birth certificate as you don't have a CPR.Ìý And it will take time and visits to Government offices (for residents, it is an online process - hospital notifies birth and you apply online for a birth certificate to be mailed to you).Ìý ÌýAnd until the birth certificate / vaccination is available, you won't be able to take the baby back to Saudi.Ìý

So from my perspective, it doesn't make any sense to do this.Ìý

Thanks for response.

She has listened lots of bad stories of doctors rude behavior during emergency in local hospitals from her friends who had already gone through thus procees, we are really stressed.

Still looking for good Maternity hospital with Indian or Pakistani obo-gynecologist in saudi arabia.

Please I request you if you know please recommend.

I don't know any Gynae doctor in KSA as never had to use any outside of Bahrain.Ìý But then again, I have a Bahrain residence.Ìý Try to find a good private hospital e.g. Sulaiman Habib.ÌýÌý

Consult Dr. Shazia Maqsood at Sulaiman habib khurais road (Riyadh). Have personal experience. She is best of best.
