Yeah, if you just need spices like cardamom just follow Nga's advice. If you want herbs, then go to : Hai Thuong Lan Ong street, P.13,Q.5,HCMC. That area you can see so many herbal shops selling dried herbals including ginseng!

I was at Veggy's, love the shop, but there's one spice I can't find which is garam masala, not even at Annam Gourment nearby. Any idea where I can find this?

There are a couple of Indian food shops around that may stock it, but I tend to make my own, it's an easy blend of spices to make. This always ensures it's fresh for when I need it.

Already mentioned. I 've bought the garam masala at 58 ham nghi. Everything is in the shop !

Ok will try to make it to that shop, it's a bit daunting as I stay at Hoc Mon and aren't familiar with City area. Using a bike, hopefully I won't get lost!
