We're still exploring Riyadh and I read that people living outside of the DQ can access it - walking paths, restaurants, etc. - is this true?聽 If so, can someone please provide some high level directions and recommendations on restaurants?

Directions to DQ

Go along Makkah Road (towards Makkah) and DQ is signposted.

Takes about 45 mins from central Riyadh

Well worth the visit (before the weather gets to hot)

(its one of the few places you can walk without the fear of getting run over)

This Thursday there will be a charity party in Turkish embassy.. May be it will an opportunity to discover DQ..

One possible way of getting on to Makkah Road from Olaya is to drive west on Aruba Road, with Euromarche on your left and take the clover leaf at the end of the road to your right and get on to the Highway. DQ is a few meters away on your right.
