visa requirements if flying into madrid

Hi guys just making sure I have things in order.

I am moving to Spain from Australia ( I am UK citizen so I am under impression I can stay in Spain if I am going to find work in Gibraltar.
What I am asking is if I fly into Madrid what type of visa do I need? Is it OK to live in la lineaand work in Gibraltar?

Hi

If you have an EU country passport then there is no visa requirement.

Yes it is OK the live in La Linea and work in Gib

Hi thanks for that.
Just had to double check as when I phoned Spanish consulate here in Australia they told me 90 day visa the have to apply for permanent visa within 30.

She must of been having a bad day.
