I have been offered the job of pediatrician from hamad general hospital as pediatrician with good salary package of 14500 us dollars. they have advised me to contact solid consultant Qatar Doha to process my travel documents , solid consultant Qatar have sent me the visa application form and requested me to deposit some money so that they should process my visa. should I go ahead and this is the routine recruitment process by the hamad general hospital.
please advise me
Recruitment consultant firm are not allowed to take any service charges it's free hiring from HMC. Hmc will cancel the contract if any agency will do so. Maybe it's a scam.

Dear ,
Why don't you contact with the Hospital directly and ask for HR Dept .
To verify your job offer !
Seems like a scam , why would they outsource their recruitment processes ?
Seems fishyÂ

Hamad General Hospital
@ Don't call the number they wont able to help you. Call directly the Medical Team or the concern person who took your interview from HMC. I am sure you have his Hmc corp email address.
HR DEPT IN HMC will never answer and the number you mention is the service desk no# for HMCÂ Due to lot of question HR dept never answer the calls. So i would suggest to call directly the medical Team. The offer been processed by HR but the decision been taken under medical Team. The HR will say directly call the medical team and let them know.
He could verify the email address at least
They wont reply If you work in HMC you will know the procedure. Don't confuse. Let him email the Medical Team.
Thanks
Wilson
Please any body can help me in sorting out the number of medical team to be consulted
Where did you apply?make sure that its not scam..make some information regarding that job..all i know is hamad hospital is good company and they give also good salary..good luck..
Hi ,
Hamad Hospitals is considered one of the biggest here in Doha and they do their own hiring of workforce from all over the world therefore they have their HR department that can deal with the hiring process from A- Z . This might not be a legitimate offer so I would be carful if I were you .It might be a scam .
Working for HMC, this seems out of the ordinary. I know for my post, they arranged everythingl from offer letter, visa, tickets to travel, etc. Like a previous poster mentioned, this sounds like a scam, albeit clever. I would reach out directly to HMC HR department via their official website.Â

Hello,
I received a very similar offer for the same amount this week also with Hamad General Hospital. I am currently waiting on the official job offer letter. The HR specialist did not ask me for any personal information as of yet. However, I am not new to working overseas as a contract employee and I know the process very well. I agree with the other individuals that you should not come out of pocket for anything. All of this should be arranged by the company. The only thing that you should provide is your passport information so they can arrange for your e-ticket for travel. I sent an email to the hospital HR directly just to inquire about the individual that has been sending me the emails and I have yet to receive a response.
I was offered a similar package for a different position. However, I applied through LinkedIn.
I also was offered a similar package for a hr manager position and they advise me that I will bear visa fee myself and they will refund me after the arraival to work ,I don't know how to check if it's not a scam

Could you give us this HR email @ and where did you find it
I finally have a contact at HMC and I forwarded all the documents to them for review. So far I was told that this does not seem like a legitimate job offer so hold tight. I'm waiting on confirmation. Whoever these individuals are is taking the name of a very good organization and making a mockery of them by doing this sort of thing. There are people who really want to work and have lives. They do not like their time being wasted on nonsense like this.
I finally heard back from my contact at HMC and the offer was in fact fraudulent. Do not send any money. HMC has forwarded this information to their legal department for further review.
Dear All,
Thanks for sharing your experiences; I applied through Linkedin and received the same salary mentioned and a generous package, there was no mention of any visa's etc.....I contacted the person mentioned in the email as the senior human resources manager but he declined to speak to me and informed me that I should email him, which i did, and haven't heard anything since! I guess my question is: were the jobs advertised on Linkedin with the 30th of September 2014 as the starting date legitimate ????? and how do we know that all offers are fraudulent?
Thanks,
I actually forwarded my entire packet to a point of contact that works for Hamad General Hospital and they graciously sent the packet their Executive HR Director. After three days I was informed it was a fraudulent offer and I should apply through their website. In addition, they forwarded the information to their legal department to investigate the origin of these offers.
The IP address of the emails sent to me, indicate that the origin of those emails is Nigeria!
Unbelievable. Figures. Those individuals have been swarming the Internet lately. I know of some people who have been swindled on Match.com and other dating websites too. This is just crazy.
as extraordinary as it might seem, they actually caused me to loose my job!
Never lose hope. One day you will make it. Keep trying through genuine job sites. Best of LuckÂ
Good Morning.
NO under no surcamstances do you send any money to a company that is offering you a job .
the company should be fixing everything .they should send you a contract to sign.
Talk to some one and ask why you need to send money..
Don't send any Money.
Good Morning. Please don't send any Money to any company. Any good company offering a job will get there H R to sort all paper work for you and IF there is any money to be pay. The company's H R will take from your first month wages.
Never send any money to any company that is offering you a Job.
Michael.
hi all, I just have some questions to those people who had been hired or waiting for the recruitment process in Hamad Gen. Hosp... I was interviewed last June, locally here in qatar, im husband sponsor, after a week I received an email from them & luckily I was considered for the position in Admin & told me the hr will contact me for my recruitment. After 2 months, Aug. the HR contacted me & ask for some documents to formalized my recruitment, and now its Oct., im still waiting for the HR for their another email for the status of my recruitment process or for a job offer, i kept on sending emails for follow up to them but there's no reply.
My. question is, how long does it take for the recruitment process in Hamad? The HR will ever don't mind to reply for following up for the status of recruitment? how long do i need to wait for this, do you have some idea? its been 4 months already since my acceptance & interview has been made.
Hi Guys
I will be gratful for some advise/pointers.... . I am from the UK and recently finished by second round of interviws for a senior finance position at HMC. The agency that I am going through has indicated that Hamad would like to make me an offer once I send through some documents, which I have, however, I am still waiting for the formal offer. My questions are:
1. How long can this take, I was told it can take up two weeks but I have already waited three weeks.
2. Whats the next process ( assuming that I accept the offer). The agency thinks there is a ' crediantial checking' procedure. Does anyone know what that is and whether thats only for medical staff?
Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.
Kind Regards

It may take long , better follow up with concern Head of the Finance Department

After accepting the offer letter you need to go through medical Test in your country and submit the reports to the recruitment agency, once they received your reports and certificate attested through Qatar embassy they will futher process your visa( delay might happen) it depend on the Department Head.
Contact the Department Head for the right to information or the person who took your interview,

Assuming all goes well In Sha-Allah, would I need to go to Qatar first and get residency before applying for my wife and child or are there any exceptions where we can all travel together ?
You need to be here in Qatar, HMC will schedule your medical check up at the staff clinic, immigration finger prints. Once you get the Qatar resident permit then you can apply for the Family Visa.
