Hi!I am new in Bahrain... I just wanna know that the local seafish available in Bahrain (lulu hypermarket) is safe or not..for my baby and us also....I heard that there is severe marine pollution here and fishes may contain toxic chemicals and heavy metal...

Dear Rajkonna,

There is absolutely no pollution whatsoever reported in Bahrain, i have been buying fresh fish from the Central Market / Lulu / Geant and we have no issues, regarding toxic chemicals / heavy metals this is again false, but be advised that there are some fish like tuna (which naturally contain some chemical like mercury).

good luck!

I too have been consuming fish since my arrival in Bahrain and have not seen or felt any problems/complications.

You should be reasonably safe.
